Spring is America's favorite season. After the gray skies and low temperatures of winter, Americans everywhere are embracing the early days of Spring with open arms. You too should get out there and carpe diem. Really, you should do anything but house cleaning. A clean home does lead to improved relaxation and better sleep, but you should use your well rested and relaxed state of being to get out and have more fun!

Spring Cleaning

Spring Cleaning was first used as a term in 1857. Spring cleaning however is a universal idea, wherein people clean out their homes to welcome the warmer weather. Cultures such as China incorporate it into their culture with Xiaonian ("Little New Year") where they rid their home of bad spirits through cleaning. That being said, spring cleaning can be a real pain. The spring cleaning chores weren't fun when we were kids, and they still aren't!

9 Days to Go!

We have only nine days left until the official beginning of Spring. Woo-hoo! According to a Gallup poll, Spring is America's favorite season. Unsurprisingly, winter is the least favorite season. To round it out, fall comes in second and summer comes in third. Furthermore, those over the age of 65 prefer spring by the largest margin, with over half of seniors choosing spring as their favorite season.
