Sick Kid Checklist

Pinterest can be a great way to find inspiration. We looked around and found this article from Kate, blogger and mom. Kate explores many, many different options to help your little one heal and feel better. She also considers the need to keep the home clean in order to help contain the spread of the sickness. We certainly appreciate the need for cleanliness! House cleaning isn't just for looking good, folks. Additionally, it was through this blog that we first found out about infrared thermometers. You just point it and get a reading, like a police officer's radar gun. What a great invention!

Mucous, what a wonderful word. It's up their with moist, ointment, and ooze. Even worse than seeing it is having it. As we are what we eat, some foods support the creation of mucous, and some do not. Here's another pin dedidcated limiting the amount of mucous in our sick life.

If you're reading this because your child is sick, we would like to wish your child the best of luck in getting back to full health quickly. We also wish you the best of luck in getting them there. Being a parent can be a tough gig, especially on days like this. But of course, it's worth it.
