For those of us who are not early risers, the coffeemaker is a lifesaver. Don't let your morning coffee make you sick! Here's some easy tips for helping it feel like itself again...just like it does for you!
1. Wipe down the outside of the coffeemaker with an anti-bacterial wipe. Food residue from cooking can stick to it and make its way into your morning brew.
2. Pour vinegar into the water holder and let it sit for 30 minutes. Then run a full cycle with water until the vinegar smell goes away. Vinegar is a naturally anti-bacterial cleaner.
3. Stick the basket in the dishwasher, or wipe it out if it isn't removable.
