    Cleaning mold out of a bottle

    We all have those days even if we aren't parents, that we end up misplacing a bottle with something other than water in it. When you finally find the bottle it's all gross with mold. I'm guilty of just tossing the bottles and buying a new one at that point. But if you've found yourself with one of these bottles, try to soak the bottle with a teaspoon or so of Clorox bleach, and then fill the container 2/3rds full of water.

    Hard water on faucets

    We've all had those sinks that it seems no matter how much you've cleaned them, they get the Hard water deposits on them and you can't get it off. The only answer is to get a new faucet, and that's pricey sometimes depending on what kind of faucet you have. I've found a link that suggests just a little time, an old rag of some sort, some distilled white vinegar, a bowl and soft scrubby pad that won't scratch the faucet.

    If you are anything like me, I can only clean with one cleaner. Once I start to mix the cleaners, I need my windows open and fans going.
