Cleaning mold out of a bottle

We all have those days even if we aren't parents, that we end up misplacing a bottle with something other than water in it. When you finally find the bottle it's all gross with mold. I'm guilty of just tossing the bottles and buying a new one at that point. But if you've found yourself with one of these bottles, try to soak the bottle with a teaspoon or so of Clorox bleach, and then fill the container 2/3rds full of water.

Give it a good shake to get the liquid mix on all areas of the container. Leave it sit for a few hours, give it another shake, then depending on the type of bottle you may need to put it upside down so the lid can get cleaned out if it has mold in it also. I'd suggest putting it in to a dishwasher or washing the contain by hand after its soaked in hot soapy water for a while.
