    Dirty Oven

Another task that seems to take forever. If we would wipe it down once a week we wouldn't run in to these problems over and over. I found a link that suggested you can place a small bowl of ammonia on a cookie sheet in the oven over night. The fumes should soften any grim from the walls and floor of the Dirty Oven. If you are going to try this I would suggest before you open the door the next day you turn on the over head hood fan to suck out the fumes from your house as they rise. And make sure you aren't standing over the oven door when you open it, nothing worse than getting a big smell of ammonia to take your breath away.
