    Dirty Dryer

Make sure your dryer is unplugged first. You can then pull out the filter and make sure the lint is cleaned out. If you stick the filter under the water and it beads up or doesn't flow through, there is build up from the fabric softener. You can clean it off with some soap and water and give it a little scrub with a brush. Once you've washed it make sure it's fully dry before you put it back into the drier. Then you can grab your vacuum using the crevice tool get down the in the lint trap, The exhaust hose should also be cleaned out a few times a year just to make sure it doesn't have build up. More so after winter if your exhaust hose runs up to your roof. Then just wipe down the exterior of the drier with a damp cloth, put the filter back in after its dry and you're done cleaning it!
