Volvo Cars CEO, Håkan Samuelsson, has announced that by 2019 all Volvo automobiles produced will either be hybrid vehicles or fully electric. Samuelsson noted the increasing demand for hybrid and electric vehicles as the reasoning behind the decision. He also went on to state that this is going to serve as a landmark in the end of gasoline powered vehicles.
