Business Problems Are Camouflaged Personal Problems | Part II

Previously, I discussed that different house cleaning franchisee's achieve different results under similar circumstances.

It would also stand to reason that you may achieve different results based on the maid service franchise that you choose to join. Will you choose the maid service franchise culture in which you will thrive?

Not every residential cleaning franchise will be a perfect fit. Part of your due diligence homework with a house cleaning franchise is to determine your compatibility with their culture. A large franchise with 400+ franchises will offer you a different experience than a 50 a franchisee brand. Consider a high school graduating class of 1,000 vs. 78; two completely different experiences. In one you are a cog in a machine, hopefully a well-organized yet sometimes impersonal machine. In the other you are part of a family where you know everyone, and everyone knows you.

In a smaller franchise you will not be able to easily camouflage your problems. You will be that much closer to the CEO, who can be a great resource for helping you remove business problem roadblocks that are impeding your progress. Think of your franchisor as your personal business coach or consultant. They are there to help you work through your problems so you can be successful in your maid service business.
