Air Fryers have exploded in popularity over the past several years and it has become abundantly clear that they're way more than a fad. Air Fryers are a quick and easy ways to make delicious snacks. However, we're all a little bit unsure as to how to best clean these new devices in our lives. Accordingly, we've tapped our brilliant home cleaners and the great minds of Maid University to put together an expert guide to maintaining the cleanliness of your Air Fryer.
The most important thing Air Fryer cleaning is regularity- do it often and it'll be easy! The worst thing would be to let it go for awhile, accumulating build-up. This is particularly true when you're using a lot of sauces that are more likely to stick to surfaces within the Air Fryer.
Remove the internal components and clean them thoroughly with warm, soapy water. To keep it eco-friendly, try a mixture of warm water, vinegar, and lemon juice. A soft sponge is what's called for as you don't want to scrape anything.
For those bits and pieces that won't budge easily, use a toothbrush, toothpick or the like to poke out anything that's left. Afterwards, leave the removable parts out to dry.
The average college kid is likely done at this point, but if you want to expertly thorough, wipe the inside of the Air Fryer with a damp towel. This may be a good time to clean the heating apparatus, but make sure to do so as instructed by the Owner's Manual.
The final step! Wipe the exterior down, dry it, and then put everything back together. You're ready for you next Air Frying adventure!
