Going green is a great way to keep your family healthy. But sometimes going green can come at a high cost. The solution? Make your own healthy cleaners with items you most likely have in your home already.

Bathrooms are one of the messiest places in our homes and often the hardest to clean. But with these simple recipes you can get your bathroom clean in no time.

Toilet Bowl

Mix 1/4 cup Baking Soda with 1 cup Vinegar in the toilet bowl. Wait 15-30 minutes. Scrub with a brush and flush.

Glass/Mirror

In a spray bottle, mix 1/4 cup Vinegar with 4 cups warm water.

Faucet

Soak towel in Vinegar and wrap around the faucet. Let it sit overnight or for 2-3 hours. Wipe away and rinse with water.

Soap Scum

Sprinkle Baking Soda directly on soap scum and scrub clean. Rinse with water.
