Things You Should Never Clean With Vinegar

Since the vinegar is an acid, you don't want to use it on some items. Sure, on most floors it's great. But this article suggests that you avoid the Granite and marble countertops. Why, you ask? Because you can etch the natural stone. They instead suggest the mild dish soap and warm water, then rinse. Stone floor tiles again, just like the countertops you don't want to etch. Using warm water and dish soap works well.

Don't use vinegar to clean out the inside of an iron, it can damage the internal parts. You don't want to break something you need daily. Hardwood floors is a toss-up. Some say it's great, others say it damages the floors. I use a wood cleaner just be on the safe side. No one wants to ruin a floor. Always test out a small area with wood cleaners first.
