Who's had those Smelly Dish Towels! It doesn't matter what you use on them, the smell is stuck in the fabric. Short of burning the towels. you've just about given up. You can grab a pot and boil some water at least half or a little fuller. You place a few of the dish towels in the boiling water using a large spoon or tongs. Whatever you are comfortable using. You then pour in about 1/8 cup of baking soda and mix it around. Keep an eye on the boiling pot for about 20 minutes. Once the time is up, pull them out and toss them into the washer. Start the load once you're done "boiling" all of your towels. Just be careful not to burn yourself.
