Who does the outside of the house work? Is It you or someone else? I've noticed that no matter how many times you clean the outside of the window and the tracks it always seems dirty come the fall or spring. I will have to try this white vinegar and baking soda mix. Normally I just clean the track off with the Windex since that's the only thing I have at the time.

You pour on a little baking soda then some vinegar, take an old tooth-brush or some q-tips to help clean the track and then rinse with water and then dry with some paper towels, repeat the steps as needed. Hopefully it's all cleaned after your first attempt, some of those windows can get pretty gross depending on where you live.
