Safety first, we need safety glasses/face shield to protect us from splashes and inadvertently spraying ourselves. We will also need rubber gloves long enough to protect our forearms from any splatters as well. I also put on some clothing that I don't mind getting dirty or ruined. Now that we have all of our safety equipment, they’re a few things we need to watch for. When using a spray be careful not to spray any wires, lights, electrical elements or pilot light. For gas stoves turn off the pilot light, I would even go a step further and turn off the gas to the stove.
