When my seven year old daughter made a remark this morning, "This Pancake doesn't taste as good as yesterday's," I took note. I was curious as to why the pancake doesn't taste as good as yesterday. The only difference was that I made a little more, but with same exact ingredients. The only thing I could think of was the day before I took little bit more time and was a little more thorough. She pointed out that the pancake had little crumbs on it. She showed it to me and I took note. I said to her I will pay more attention and be more thorough next time. I learned a quick lesson - even a good cook can fail and not be perfect at times. This is when good feedback can put you right back on you feet.
