THE HARDER I WORK, THE LUCKIER I BECOME. When I was younger it used to bug me when someone would change fare well, so long, till we meet again, or goodbye to don't work too hard. It really got under my skin. Should I be lazy, slothful, or lethargic? Why would someone wish those things on anyone? I spent a summer of my youth working in a union shop and the first thing one of the older guys told me was to slow down (my production was making them look bad). I didn’t like being told to take it easy. I have mellowed since then, much to the satisfaction of those surrounding me today, but I still see the virtue of a job well done.
It is hard to image becoming successful without hard work. Working hard and working smart should increase your odds of winning. It makes sense. You almost always get what you pay for...whether you are buying a car, a house, maid service, or even a career. How much are you prepared to pay for your future success?
Owning your own business is hard work; don't let anyone tell you different. It's not easy. You need to work hard, but you will find the more you work on your franchise business, the luckier you will become. Opportunities are all around us, but you won't find them with your feet up.
