You’ve Got MAIDS is the House Cleaning Franchise that could have elected a California Governor. That's right, a house cleaning franchise could have changed the results of this week’s California governor’s race between Jerry Brown and Meg Whitman.
Meg Whitman had hired Nicky Diaz Santillan for house cleaning, and agreed to pay her $23 per hour, ten years ago. It turns out Nicky Diaz Santillan had falsified her documents that she used to fool Meg Whitman and the state of California. Ms. Santillan had a valid California drivers license. When Ms. Santillan applied for a job with the Whitman’s she had all the legal documentation that she needed to gain employment. Meg Whitman did nothing wrong hiring a person that had a valid California driver’s license & a social security card! Flash forward a few year and Nicky Diaz Santillan single-handedly derailed Meg Whitman’s chances at becoming governor through Jerry Springer-esque theatrics.
Keep in mind that we are talking about California. California’s current governor is Arnold Schwarzenegger who played the original time travailing cyborg assassin in Terminator. It’s widely agreed that if the California Republican Party had Skynet technology they could then send back a team of You’ve Got MAIDS house cleaners to replace Meg Whitmans former housekeeper Nicky Diaz Santillan ten years ago. It really could be that simple.
By outsourcing her house cleaning to You’ve Got MAIDS house cleaners, Meg Whitman would be Governor today. That’s a fact.
