Franchise Partners

What's a Franchisee?

A franchisee is the party in a franchise contract who purchased the right to use a business's trademarks, brand, and other proprietary knowledge to open in a protected territory. Traditionally, the larger, more established franchisors have a history of treating their franchisee like school children. If you don't believe me, talk to some of their franchisees.

What's a Franchise Partner?

At You've Got MAIDS we decided to be different. After years as a franchisee for another franchise system, we decided to build a different kind of relationship with our franchisee's when we created this franchise. To signify this shift from the franchise norm, we substituted Franchise Partner for Franchisee. You see we really are partners & you treat partners differently than you treat employees. You just do.

Now don't get me wrong. You've Got MAIDS has standards, polices, and procedures that must be upheld to keep our reputation in the home cleaning industry shiny and clean. It's not the lawless wild, wild west with Clint Eastwood walking around with an Ionator in his holster doing whatever he wants. At our house cleaning franchise we put the emphasis on following the Golden Rule and treating each other with respect and dignity. It is just that simple.

What's the difference?

The proof is in the pudding. If you are comparing a You've Got MAIDS house cleaning franchise against another maid service franchise, talk the the franchisee's (or in our case franchise partners). Ask them how happy they are with the relationship. Then make up your own mind.
