In 1906, Italian economist Vilfredo Pareto¹ created The Pareto Principle. You know it as the 80/20 Rule². Pareto's mathematical formula initially describes the unequal distribution of wealth in Italy, by observing that 20% of the people owned 80% of the wealth.
