October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and You’ve Got Maids is proud to partner with Cleaning For A Reason, an international nonprofit serving cancer patients through free house cleaning. 

Cleaning For A Reason aims to help people battling cancer focus on their health and treatment by taking away the worry and work of cleaning their homes. Recipients are partnered with participating cleaning services like You’ve Got Maids and receive monthly cleaning services, free of charge. Over the course of our partnership, You’ve Got Maids is pleased to have donated over $187,000 by performing more than 1,200 free house cleanings to those battling cancer. We are thrilled to grow this number as we continue to work together! 

Through our partnership with Cleaning For A Reason, several You’ve Got Maids territories assist cancer patients in their communities by donating cleaning services. For example, Earla Transue, owner of You’ve Got Maids in Lakeland, FL, has seen firsthand the benefits of providing free cleanings and alleviating cancer patients of the burden of tidying their homes.
