House Cleaning Choices

You have four choices concerning house cleaning:

First house cleaning choice is to ignore it.  Put off house cleaning, procrastinate, don’t worry about cleaning your home, after all only Robinson Crusoe had everything done by Friday.  Embrace the filth!  After about six month it doesn’t get much worse.

Second house cleaning choice is do it yourself.  The average homes 52-Point Spring Clean™ takes 5-8 hours.  Now if you live with the furry cast of Dog Whisperer you will want to budget more time & cleaning supplies.  After you get it sparkling clean, then you need to maintain it…set aside 3-5 hours each week to clean your home…for the rest of your life.

Third house cleaning choice is to hire an independent house cleaner like Alice from the Brady Bunch.  The problem is Alice is pure fiction…she does not exist.  In this real world you need to worry about hiring non-documented workers, paying taxes to the IRS for even part time maids, assuming the risk of your housekeeper getting hurt in your home, assuming the risk of your maid robbing you, and lastly managing your employee.

Fourth house cleaning choice is to hire a professional maid service.  For $10 to $20 more a week you get many benefits. Professional maid services should do criminal background checks, train their maids, manage their maids, pay all the taxes, pay for workers compensation insurance & liability insurance.  They should be trustworthy & dependable.

Those are your four house cleaning choices.  Which one is right for you?

You’ve Got MAIDS Clients expect our uniformed housekeepers to bring all the cleaning equipment and supplies.  Think about it.  If a maid service wanted to skimp on vacuums & cleaning solutions, you have to question the other places they are cutting corners.   Like paying payroll taxes to protect you from the IRS.  Or paying workers compensation insurance to protect you from personal injury attorneys.
