• Step 1- Vacuum

The first and most important step in cleaning your hardwood floors is to remove all dust and dirt from the floors surface. This can be done with a vacuum or broom. The vacuum is the preferred method, just remember to use the soft brush attachment. Do your best to remove all or as much dirt as you can to make future steps easier.

• Step 2- Spray & Squirt

The next step is to get a hardwood cleaner specific for hardwood cleaning. For everyday or weekly cleans choose a spray type option to help maintain cleanliness throughout the month. For your monthly clean you would need a squirt type cleaner specially made to help clean as well as shine the floors.

• Step 3- Clean

Now that you've vacuumed all the surface dirt and have your cleaning products ready to go its time to clean. For cleaning you need a mop with a hardwood floor cleaning pad, preferably one that can be removed for easy washing once the job is complete. Either using the daily/weekly spray cleaner or once a month squirt cleaner/enhancer spray in small area and work your mop in long strokes with the grain of the wood. Once complete refrain from walking on the floor until dry.
