Getting Your Oven Clean Naturally and Effectively With Baking Soda and White Vinegar

The easiest way to clean an oven is to just simply turn on the self clean button, but it can be the most dangerous way to do so. If you have an old oven, this can set off your smoke alarms and get your home pretty smelly and smoky.

Here's a simple, natural way to clean your oven.

1. Take a 1/2 cup of baking soda and mix it with a few tablespoons of water, until you have created a paste.

2. Put on a pair of gloves, and spread the baking soda paste through the entire inside of the oven. Try and get every corner. Let the paste sit overnight or at least 12 hours.

3. With a damp cloth, wipe down the inside of the oven, removing the paste. Whatever you can not remove easily with your cloth, take a plastic spatula and scrub it off.

4. After most of the paste has been removed, take a bottle filled with white vinegar and spray the inside of the oven. Wipe the remaining residue clean.

Hope this helps you get your oven nice a clean, naturally!
