Create a Homework Station

Choose a place in your home that you will use for homework and studying.  Pick a relatively calm, quiet place.  An office or spare room is  a great place to establish your homework station.  Make sure it is clear of clutter and ready for papers and backpacks.  Here a few great ideas on how to set up your homework station. Click here to view

Prepare Lunches the Day Before

Start by fixing lunches ahead of time.  This can be done the night before or even a couple days ahead of time depending on the meal you prepare. Choose a shelf or drawer in your fridge and clear it out. Designate this shelf to lunch boxes and pre-planned meals. This is a great time saving trick.  Here are a few ideas on how to vamp up those lunches.  Click here to view

Clean out that Closet

Just like preparing lunches the day before, picking out outfits a week at a time can be a lifesaver for you and your indecisive crew.  Dividing clothes into categories is a great start.  Keep school clothes and play clothes in different drawers and parts of the closet.  Picking out clothing for the upcoming week will save valuable time in the morning.  Make it fun with Sunday fashion shows to choose outfits.  Here are tips to make closet organizers.  Click here to view
